Bowen Education in partnership with Manchester City Council are happy to invite young people aged 5 to 11 to participate in a FREE holiday camp.

With an array of activities, your children can stay active in a fun, safe environment.
  • The Activities they will have:
  • Dance: Zumba, Jazz, Indian Dance, Street Dance
  • Sports: Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chinese Kung Fu
  • Indoor Activities: Crafts, Board Games, Painting, Chinese Calligraphy

  • This camp is being run as part of the government’s Holiday Activities and Food scheme.
  • Children are provided with a free nutritious lunch which includes a meal, fruits, and drinks every day. Free places are for children who receive benefits related to free school meals.
  • If your child does not qualify for the free meal benefit, a camp fee of £12/day will be applied.
  • The fee includes a nutritious dinner (meal, fruit, and drinks).

Eligible to claim free school meals entitlement checks: 

 

The council is obliged to confirm that you are eligible to claim free school meals in order for your to access a free place, and will do so by checking the data held on your housing benefit and/or council tax reduction claim and/or against the data held by the DWP and HMRC, via the Department for Education eligibility checking service, to verify that you are entitled to claim free school meals.

How to Enroll： If you are NOT in the “Free School Meal” benefit category：Register via Bowen,  simply click the link and fill in the registration form If you are in the “Free School Meal” benefit category: Register via Council Site, follow the steps: Go to https://www.mcractive.com

Register MCR Active Go member, and add your child to your account

  1. Go to SEARCH ACTIVITY
  2. Select SEARCH BY CATEGORY
  3. Select MCR- Holiday Activity in category section
  4. Add Post code M22 1QW
  5. Set parameter to 1 mile
  6. View as a list
  7. Find Bowen Holiday Camp

    Please note you will have to be a MCR active Go member to book on to these sessions.
