Steve Chan

Steve has over 10 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. Steve hold a Master’s degree in Electronics with First Class Honours.

Steve’s teaching philosophy is centered around the belief that every student has the potential to excel in maths and physics, and the role as a teacher is to help them realize that potential. Steve’s aim is to inspire and challenge his students to become independent learners who are passionate about maths and physics.

Steve takes a holistic approach to teaching maths and physics. Steve aims to develop his students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Steve believes that by teaching his students how to think deeply and independently, they will be better equipped to tackle any challenge that comes their way. Steve uses a range of teaching strategies, including interactive whiteboards, real-world examples, and hands-on activities, to help my students understand complex concepts. Steve also encourages his students to engage with the material by asking questions, making connections, and exploring new ideas.

Over the years, Steve’s students have consistently achieved outstanding results in their public exams, with many of them going on to pursue successful careers in maths and physics. Steve is proud of my track record and attribute it to my passion for teaching, his deep knowledge of the subjects, and his ability to connect with his students on a personal level.
