Tim
Tim, born into a family of educators, holds first and second (Master’s) degrees in English from the University of Wales, Bangor. His teaching career in Further Education spans A Level, GCSE, EFL, and ESOL courses. Tim served as the Head of Department, significantly contributing to the development of A Level Media and Film Studies and mentoring new teachers.
Transitioning to the private and charity sectors, he became a director at an ESOL and EFL institution and a Trinity College London International and UK ESOL Examiner. Currently, Tim is a Trinity Stars Expert and Skills for Life speaking and listening examiner.
Since 2018, he has been the Director of Studies at a Yorkshire language school, leading a team of English teachers and overseeing day-to-day operations. Tim is also an experienced A Level and GCSE English and Media Studies marker.
Beyond education, Tim’s creative pursuits include music composition and recording. He shares his songs digitally and has a passion for nature and animals.
